Persons With Disabilities: Changing the Narrative

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), persons living with disabilities are about 20 percent of Nigeria’s population. These persons, irrespective of their age, background and ethnicity have always been the butts of the society owing to the myths that disability is caused by supernatural forces, curses and punishment for wrongdoings, thereby forming a belief system that they can’t amount to anything in life. This documenatry focuses on how persons with disabilities are changing the narrative.
